Decades of Superior Performance

Superior Performance ... Evolved

The look of our units may have changed over the years, but one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to superior compressor condensate management. Clean Resources has routinely set the standard in oil-water separation with our 10 ppm or less and EPA compliance guarantee.

magnet attracting oil molecules

Attracting Contaminants

Them

With Passive Filtration, hydrocarbons become trapped in surface pores. Compressor fluid may not locate an open surface pore and bypass the filtration media, going directly to discharge. External stimuli such as changes in temperature and vibrations can cause held fluid to dislodge and discharge.

Clean Resources

Clean Resources proprietary substrate beds pull all air compressor lubricants from the condensate, actively attracting contaminants and repelling water. Lubricants are chemically bonded to the media bed, eliminating the possibility of accidental dislodging and discharge.

messy media bag

Fully Contained Media Beds

Them

Passive Filtration Media Bags only last 3,000-4,000 hours and are messy to change. Plus, they average 40 ppm new and quickly fall out of compliance as media saturates and becomes less efficient.

Clean Resources

Clean Resources’ proprietary filtration media can last more than twice as long as media bags under identical conditions with no messy changeouts required. Plus, our media is guaranteed to remove lubricants down to 10 ppm or less for the life of the unit.

buoy on the ocean

No Reliance on Buoyancy

Them

Liquid Phase Separation relies on buoyancy (oil floating on water) to achieve separation. These systems require multiple segments to make up for inefficiencies, take extended periods of time to achieve separation, and often leave PAGs and dissolved hydrocarbons in the discharge water.

Clean Resources

Clean Resources’ proprietary substrate beds attract all air compressor lubricants from the condensate, bonding them to the media bed and eliminating the possibility of accidental discharge. Separation occurs rapidly, meaning our units can be much smaller than liquid phase separators and require significantly less floor space.

Step 1 yes, Steps 2 and 3 no

Single-Step Filtration

Them

Competitors’ active filtration systems tend to require prefiltration or an activated carbon polishing filter to compensate for their media’s inefficiencies compared to Clean Resources.

Clean Resources

Clean Resources units get the job done with a single filtration step. Plus, we guarantee lubricant removal down to 10 ppm or less and EPA Compliance for the life of our units.

polyglycol molecules

Polyglycol Removal

Them

Passive Filtration and Liquid Phase Separation systems are unable to effectively remove highly soluble polyglycols from condensate.

Clean Resources

Clean Resources’ chemically improved substrate medium actively attracts and adheres to polyglycols, eliminating the possibility of subsequent dislodging and discharge.
